Thermal Conductors and insulators for a sarcophagus
We did a fair test science experiment to explore which materials make good insulators which would be good for a sarcophagus. We kept ice in different bowls: plastic, glass, wood, metal, paper and porcelain. Every 5 minutes, we measured how much the ice had melted. The best insulator was the wooden bowl so we decided that our sarcophagus ought to be wooden. We then designed our sarcophagus using hieroglyphics and our findings from our experiment. Take a look at our new science display and the vocabulary that we’ve been learning.
