E-Safety is an important part of keeping children safe at St Anne’s CE Lydgate Primary School. It covers all electronic media and we constantly strive to protect and educate our pupils in the digital world we live in. It is embedded into our school curriculum, particularly in Computing and PSHE lessons. Pupils are taught how to stay safe and behave appropriately online. However, we are also aware that encounter digital media at home where parents and children might need so advice or direction in how to deal with different situations. Reporting an incident –
We have extensive security measures in place in school to help safeguard pupils from potential dangers or unsuitable material. Any e-Safety incidents are recorded and managed in accordance with E-safety policy 2017
Incidents may be recorded by anyone. This includes staff, parents, carers and children, but please make an appointment via the school office if you would like to discuss any e-safety incident further. This incident log will be monitored termly by the Headteacher, Member of SLT or Chair of Governors. Any incidents involving Cyberbullying may also need to be recorded elsewhere.
