Here is a summary of the report:
St Anne’s CofE Lydgate Primary School continues to maintain the high standards identified at its previous inspection. The school is a happy, welcoming community where pupils are proud to belong and rise to the high expectations set for them. Pupils achieve well academically, socially and emotionally, and their excellent behaviour reflects the school’s strong values of respect and perseverance.
The carefully designed curriculum builds knowledge logically over time, supported by skilled teaching and effective assessment that ensures pupils understand and remember more. A strong culture of reading enables pupils to become confident and fluent readers, while those with special educational needs and/or disabilities are identified early and supported effectively through tailored provision.
Beyond the classroom, pupils benefit from extensive personal development opportunities, including enrichment activities, leadership roles and collaboration across the trust. Strong leadership and governance ensure that pupils remain at the heart of the school’s work, while staff are supported within a positive and collaborative learning community.
